I came across this website of a shop that specializes in custom KJ's just up the road from me in Scottsdale, AZ. This stuff is sick... and I mean sick as in sick, not as in cool. If you have a few extra minutes, take a look at the site and the JK's this shop has built and sold.

I'd really like to see some opinions of these Jeeps.

Me, I think somebody has more money than they know what to do with. But then, I'll take the "Extreme Players Edition"....

with the right rims and tires it could be salvaged 8)

Just looked at the page....most of those COP versions are pretty cool in my eyes. Still like the AEV's better though

I like the JK-350, but the morons didn't change the motor, now if it had a motor to match the name, then there is a good jeep.

They may be really "blingy" but they're still built for GO as well...I really like some of them...the Polar Express and Snocat and a few others

Most of their stuff looks like bolt-on's from (mainly) other companies. I do not see any real engineering here, like AEV does.

A 500 HP hemi with big tires but keeping the D44's? I do not call that being built for go.

No big whoop. A credit card, some ads from the back of a 4wd mag, and a local paint shop & you can duplicate most of the work from this company. Even their engine swaps use pretty common components and are not really blazing any new trails.

COP4x4 builds some excellent JK's. Look at the Orange Crush a SEMA this year. However like most custom shops, if some one comes in with a horrible idea, they'll still build it. It's about the $$$!

To each his own. Even if the engine was modded by someone, I see a jeep with a engine/tranny swap that could be done by many on this board with kits available to the home builder & that were pioneered by other shops. The suspension, axles, etc... are all mail-order pieces that are routinely installed by do-it-yourselfers.

Creating, mixing & modding things to go where they do not belong is cool. Being able to follow instructions to attach other people's stuff where they designed it to go is not very special, IMHO. That is what sets innovators apart from the mainstream. JBA, for example, is way ahead of these guys in innovation from what they are showing & bragging about.

Yeah, i didnt see that one...i meant suspension wise. Atleast they just don't lift the body and call it good..but you're right nothing ground breaking. If anything they just know how to put a whole theme together for a customer which is pretty cool in my opinion. Im sure its not cheap to do that though
