I would like to start my own website in which I can post my own write-ups, download pictures, etc. I need a webpage that will allow me to have multiple pages, subpages, etc. Basically I’m looking at doing something like what Eurekaboy did: http://www.eurekaboy.com/

I’ve already done myspace, facebook, and other free internet blogs. I’m ready for something that is a little more dynamic. We sell our own honey, so I’m not opposed to advertising our honey products and make a little cash to help pay for the website. I don’t know where to begin and need some help!

THANK YOU!

there are many different hosting services out there, or you could setup a computer to be your own server at home, then from there you just need to start building a webpage.

Yahoo used to off web spaces free. I don't know if they still do. There are other free sites and they all have a program to make your web site. You can add pics, links and text. I just wish I could remember some of the sites. I use Earthlink as my ISP and they have that type of free thing.

you don't need iweb or mobile, osx has an option for "websharing" (aka apache) builtin.

as evidence by this:

i have used godaddy.com for domain name and web hosting in the past. They seemed pretty reasonably priced at the time. Not sure about now.

iWeb is included as part of iLife on every new Mac, so it's kinda pointless to bring that up...

Thanks everyone! I’m still listening and taking suggestions. Sir Sam also suggested www.gate.com It‘s $10 per month with 100gb and unlimited bandwidth. Anything better?

Wait wait ... I thought you started out asking for something along the line of CMS of some sort and ended up with suggestions for web hosting?

MMMMMM, not sure. What's CMS? :? I don't have a clue what I'm doing, that's why I posted here. I just want my own website. I need a step-by-step layout of what I need to do.
