Just curious. I am looking to get into the Coast Guard now, and was wondering if I could ask you a few questions. I started talking with a recruiter today. I think I might have fouled up my chances with one of my answers. lol. |

I recruited for the Marine Corps for awhile, tell them ya smoked the reefer more than 5 times or something? haha PM me if you need to. Recruiting questions and regulations are pretty much the same across the board. |

Marines, always butting in to other branch discussions. 
No, I am prior service. I spoke with the guy today, and he asked me why I served 4 years, and only came out as an E-3. My answer in short was, Alcohol + Okinawa + underage = not gettin' a good cookie! |

Why are these ASVAB scores so dman difficult to dicypher!!! I am looking at the qualifications for different jobs. They are telling me that I need an EL of 208 to be a Gunners Mate... I don't have anything near that. I'm an idiot. That is what I am gathering from these qualifications.
Its cool though, I am still interested in Food Service. |

UPDATE: So, after speaking with the CG recruiter today. I answered all of his 200 questions. He came back with this. " I hate to tell you, but I can't help you because of your tattoo on your leg." Me: Lol, why not? Him: "Because it is too big." Me: " lol, are you f'in serious?" - minus the f'in part. Him: Yes. Me: You couldn't have stopped about 10 minutes ago, and said this? Him: I didn't catch it. Me: What a douche. 
I will be contacting the sister service now, you know who I'm talking about... then back to the Marines I go. |
