Does anyone know how I can create a pdf to be saved on my drive?
I do not want to pay the $299 for the adobe acrobat 9, and I know some on here d have pdf links, and I would be grateful!!!
I am compiling the threads that I like and saving them, but microsoft word is just not cutting it.

Thank you very much!!!

if you download PDF Creator from PDF Forge, you can print from any program to a pdf, instead of to a printer. When you install the program it will set up "PDF Creator" as a printer in your printers lists. Pretty easy to use.

http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator/download

You may also want to check out Printkey 2000. I use it to capture screenshots to bitmap or jpeg type files, which can be pasted into word or excel easily. The nice thing is, you download and install, then just hit your print screen button and it brings up the screenshot loaded in the program for "saving as", etc. You can also select the rectangle / window tool, and it will let you reselect the screenshot with a draggable window. Nice because you just capture what you want, like the forums, and not your clock and toolbars and such.

FYI: With PDF995, If you get server busy click "Retry" and click the browser or other window on your desktop to put the warning window behind what you are working on. DO NOT X the warning window out, that action will disconnect your browser and it will be a pain to get it back online.

If you want a one or several pages out of a .pdf manual such as the KJ manual, tell PDF995 to print the pages you want to a .pdf file, but give it a name like "KJFSM 99 106" or you will have two files with the same name and if it puts it in the same folder, you can mess up the original.

If you only want to use it for a quick project, you can download Adobe professional as a trial version. I think it's 30 days. Not a permanent solution, but if you just need to do a couple projects over the next 30 days, it's worth it.

Although I have two other versions of adobe, so I don't really need it. I also have access to adobe professional at work, also very nice :D.

Are you wanting to create the files from adobe writer/ professional or photoshop? Or just save some files to a pdf? I will check, but there is another pdf printer you can get that will save from just about any program to pdf. It may be the one everyone here is referencing, but I think there may be another one out there.
