You can pull over and often shut down and restart can fix a glitch.
If that does not work, you can determine if you need a tow or drive to where you can fix it.
Just think, a computer brain fart could kill you if you did not have control.

I can see warp's point. Because of the fact the Boeing 757 is fly-by-wire, it has been my favorite commercial aircraft for some time. Not to be able to over-ride a computer system as the case with the airbus system is insane!
