I've heard, over the years, that owning a Jeep can get you closer to nature but, I don't think this what what they had in mind.

So, I'm sitting at the kitchen table drinking my morning coffee and I keep seeing this dove making repeated trips past the kitchen window. When I went to the back door, which opens onto the carport, to investigate, I noticed that there was actually a pair of doves. One was sitting on the roof of my KJ and the other was binging her sticks. I guess they decided that the roof of the Libby would make a good spot for a nest. Perhaps I need to get out and drive more often.

Squatters rights. You'll have to give up ownership of your Jeep now and turn your carport into a nature preserve.

One of my buddies suggested, "breasted, rolled in flour and pan fried." But, season doesn't open until September 1. :)

Seems they were having logistical difficulties. When my wife went to take a closer look she saw a very large pile of sticks on the passenger side of the KJ. The sticks were apparently either sliding off with quite some frequency or Mrs. Dove was rejecting the offerings by the dozens. Must be a "high maintanance" dove. :P
