what lens were you using in your picture?

and another note. I just ordered a camera grip for my D80 hopefully I like it. But, with the MP rating on the D80 being at 10.2, i might upgrade to the D90 soon or save up and get the D7000...or even make the switch to Canon for the 60D...But if I end up getting the D7000 or Canon 60D that will be in a year or two. And I don't think I'll sell the D80 if I get the D90 or the other 2, nice to have 2 cameras

The shot in the garage was with a manual focus 35mm f/2.8 prime, the old Nikon Ai-S variety. The bridge shot was with the new Nikon 28-300 zoom. I think you'll like the grip. I shoot with a grip on my D700. I really like it. The camera fits my hand a lot better with the grip.

Got a desert trip planned at the end of March where I'll be able to get some Jeep shots with all that gear.

your a lucky man owning the D700...that is what I want lol. But I am doing just fine with my D80 as of now, hopefully I can get a 35mm prime, because i love my 50mm prime!

Cool shots, Jayme. Looks like you're having fun with that camera.

Here's a before and after shot that really shows how helpful it is when you shoot in RAW rather than jpg. If I hadn't shot in RAW, this shot would have been unsalvageable.

ok...guys...I'm amazed. I own my own multimedia business, in my 18th year. We have a full commercial photo studio, marketing and pr guys, and the full decked out high end digital creative side of things. There is some seriously talented photographers in this thread. To all who posted, well done and keep it up. There are definitely marketable shots throughout this whole thread. I could envision the LOST coffee table book showcasing all these shots of lost members. No BS, great stuff. Just wanted to throw out props to you guys. Not only are the places and scenery breathtaking, everyones eye for composition are great!! awesome stuff and I really enjoyed looking through this one. :rockon:

I've been scanning in some old film negatives lately. These are from a trip to Redwood National Park.
