a ban to the forum is NOT taken lightly. AS admin we will not discuss why the ban took place but the action was justified

this thread will now be locked

They have the right to not justify any decision they make. Really nice isn't it!

DryBones thinks it's a lot like the Health Care debacle we are hearing so much about now too.

JL Rockies thinks that this thread is getting moved to off topic.

JL Rockies remembers only one other time when someone was erased from existence and became "Guest" and that was angry Jeep Patriot kid from CO. Not sure what he did either but no one liked him anyway. Other peeps still got to keep their identities at least even though their not welcomed anymore. I still have angry PMs in my box from one of them.

For the record this was not Thunderbirdjunkie's first run-in with the mods and admins, and on the previous occasions he had been informed of how he was expected to behave on the forum. He made a choice not to heed those warnings and is now suffering the consequences of his actions.

If an individual cannot abide by the terms that they agreed to when they joined the forum then they have no further business on the forum. Just so we are all clear let's review it one more time:

While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).

By clicking Register below you agree to be bound by these conditions.

Understand that the admins do not take lightly banning a user and it is done only after repeated attempts to help the person understand the behaviors we expect on the forum. And although we normally try to explain why a particular action was taken it is not required that we do so.

Lets have a bit of democracy on the forum. Should the ban on thunderbirdjunkie be revoked?

FYI....this is a private forum run by a group of private people with private $$. People contribute $$ on their own free will. We do not tax everyone, so this place is not a democracy. And I have been told this to ME many times. "if you don't like the rules of this playground, go play somewhere else."
