Not since I was in high school... I don't think you'd like to go in the woods with me out there with a bow. Inaccuracy was my name.
I know bowsighting has advanced a lot, but still, I'm not sure it'd be worth the risk... impalement is not pretty.

Love archery hunting, going to range etc. End of september in SD archery season opens up! Been waiting since the end af january last year for this. Hunted deer with a rifle, and the older I get the more I enjoy archery hunting. Its more fullfilling than slug or rifle hunting and more of a challenge. I shoot a 71 lb Diamond Marquis for deer, and I shoot a PSE mach flight wlite for my bow fishing.

AT = Archery Talk... An archery forum.

BH.com is another fav of mine. BH = Bowhunting.com
Its a smaller group of "no nonsense" guys. Kind of like comparing this site with something like a generic "Jeep" forum.

I used to play with a bow, but got rid of it a few moves ago. I have been thinking about getting another one though. If you're shopping, keep me posted on your research. I'd be interested in hearing what you find.

Shopping... I just got another one...

If I ask for anything else, my wife will leave me, I'm sure of that.
I think this is her way of getting me to go along with the move to NC.

I was asking because it is my main hobby/addiction.

Shipping out on Tuesday next week. I think i'm going to have to miss this year though... Unless I can either claim residency just in time, or pay for a non resident tag...
