I hate facebook. Somehow I have an account though. I didn't set it up, but it has my name, email and some personal info. May have been my wife but she won't cop to it. It isn't active either. No one uses to. The only times it has been used is the first time I logged on and found it and the second was to check if it was being used. Weird.

It took me a while to warm up to it. But once I did, I found that I like it. I have found and re-connected to a ton of my old college, High-school and even elementary friends thru it. Fun to catch up and see what everyone is doing now. I think ,or know, I would rather just catch up with them this way rather than going to some lame reunion. (And I planned my 10 year high-school reunion. Had to since I was senior class Prez)

has anybody seen the Facebook for "Jeep" brand? they are talking about All J's Jeep shop! pretty cool i thought!

Jeep®
A Jeep Story from MoparNorm Layton:

Many people buy their Jeeps because they want the rugged, dependable image that comes with the Jeep brand, even if they never intend to take their Jeep off road, or off highway. They are missing the best part of o...wning a Jeep, the fun and freedom of going places that a passenger car can’t go. Exploring new and hard to reach places. Visiting Historical sites and remote places of natural beauty. A lot of people have never experienced driving off highway and many more see the extreme activities in the Jeep enthusiast magazines and think, whoa! That is not for me! Although extreme driving gets much of the press, the vast majority of Jeepers seldom experience extreme off road driving,…at least not on purpose…When I met Tina, now my wife, she was driving a vehicle of questionable condition, and origin... (part 2 coming tomorrow)

Jeep®
A Jeep Story from MoparNorm Layton (Pt. 2):

...When I met Tina, now my wife, she was driving a vehicle of questionable condition, and origin. After several mountain trips in my CJ 7, She had contracted the “Jeep Thing” and she soon bought her own Jee...p. Within months her co-worker had a Jeep, then her co-worker’s daughter, the daughters boyfriend and another co-worker all had purchased Jeeps and then her mom, (now my mother-in-law), bought two!

A Liberty for a daily driver and a TJ for trail riding. With our growing group of Jeepers, we now we needed a place to use them. Within a two hours drive of the LA Basin, are many miles of unmaintained mining and logging roads, designated as Jeep trails by the US Forest Service.

These roads are the perfect place to teach, learn and gain the experience and skills required to become a confident Jeep driver. Part of any responsible Jeeping is the respect of our public lands, Tread Lightly and obey the local rules to ensure that these trails stay open for our use and for future Jeepers.

(Part 3 coming tomorrow)
