My son had H1N1. 3 days of fever, followed by about a week with a stuffy nose and cough. He is back to 100% now.

It seemed like the normal flu to me. Strange how my wife and I avoided getting it.

Same here, the lady and I had it for 3 days, and kids (2 year old and 8 months) got it with the high fever, followed by cough. The funny thing was the 8 month old was only sick for about 24 hours, the 2 year old had fever for only 2 days. Seems like the younger you are the less time it lasts.

Good to hear that your kids got over it ok. Kind of scary when the little ones get it.

Absolutely, when their fevers got to 103 I called the pediatrician and he said to bring them in if it reaches 105! I thought 103 sounded high but 105, kids can withstand a bit more fever he said. they never got above 103-ish so we rode it out, stayed hydrated, and used a humidifier in their rooms so they could get over the cough faster. Seemed to work well.

I had it last week, and for one day it was terrible. Being in your dorm by yourself with no medicine was awful, went to the nurse and it turned out to be swine flu. Still have that cough that just wont go away though, to the point where it's hurting my abs.

I got sick a few weeks ago. One solid day of feeling bad and then I started on the mend. But then my wife got sick the next day and it got bad enough for her to go to the doc. Her doc said "Swine flu" so my work made me go into the doc too. Doc said, "Your wife has H1N1, so we're going to put you on the same meds." So they put me on the TamiFlu (or whatever it's called). We were locked ourselves in the house for a full weekend and were back on work.

If that's the Swine Flu, then I don't know what the hub-bub is all about. Standard seasonal flu is worse.

I had it a few weeks back, knocked me out for 6 days, then I started getting better.

I was pretty miserable for those 6 days though.
