Sorta. The last American Chrysler was prior to Daimler Benz buying Chrysler, making JK's and KJ's German vehicles except for the very brief period that Cerebus ( think GMAC & Chrysler Financial ) owned Chyrsler between the Daimler debacle and the what promises to be Fiat Debacle. Daimler, known as Diamler Chrysler, arguably killed Chrysler & Jeep and at least killed the momentum that Chrysler had prior to the purchase. I think. 8)
