Cheap way to hook Security cams to Computer network?

Post subject:  Cheap way to hook Security cams to Computer network?
Anyone know how to do this with out spending a lot of money. We have a lot of drunks that like to do light B&E so they can fence the stuff for booze money (I had about $350 in tools ripped of).
Most of them are mental patients that live on the street or local halfway houses. Security cams give them fear of doing time. Besides, I see them I have time to load first and then call the cops as long as they stay out of my house. Inside, they are mine if my wife does not give them a heart attack yelling at them first :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I've been thinking of the same thing, I suppose it depends on what you consider cheap :)

There are some WiFi network cams out there, but they run 200+... such as

even cheaper get those fake cams that they sell. the look so real to the average thief that is afraid to get caught they are real.

motion lights work too. I was home one night a few years ago alone watching tv in the dark. heard noises outside. at first I thought it may be my tenant downstairs coming home drunk. then I hear footsteps up my back steps... I look though the blinds and see 2 black guys about to get to the top so I get my pistol from out from the desk right there and as the step on to the balcony the motion light kicks on. they took off in a flash.
