Now before you read this, I want to add a disclaimer. I am not making any political statement. As an engineer, I found this hilarious, regardless of the source.

It almost sounds like a Dilbert cartoon... Sadly, it apparently happened in real life.

You know, I hope they are successful and do repeal the laws of physics. Physics are way overrated in my book, especially that gravity one :jester:

Sounds like BS to me... A group of adults had to write down "Law of physics" so they could go look it up? Even if it were true, it would say more about chrysler, that all their people with 40 years experience fouled it up so bad that people who have never heard of physics have been sent to help.

Oops. I usually check stuff like this at snopes too. Didn't this time. But it is still entertaining.

I'm serious -

I've had managers (and everyone's an Engineer) upset about why 2 different frequency Lasers see different things -

the stuff we're measuring is the same size as the light wave so - No Duh - they don't match

drives'em crazy

I have met Lawyers who think they can defeat the Laws of Physics in court.
I have met PEs who think they are smarter than the Laws of Physics and water will run up hill swith out a pump.

Scary

Come to Colorado to see water going uphill.

defects on semiconductor wafers.

Different lasers work better on different film stacks, the absorption curves change so one will work great on one film stack and be blind on another, from a process standpoint you optimize what gives you the most information, however.

Folks don't want to pay for backup tools - so every new manager has the great idea of having the 700 nm wavelength as a backup for the 500 nm wavelength.
Some of them get really upset about it not working.
