Yay!!!!!!! Graduated Boot Camp on the 9th of April. I've been in Pensacola, Florida for a week now. Boot camp was easier than I expected. The PT we would get punished with at times was hard at first but not so bad towards the end. I still don't have my laptop yet but should get it this coming week. Sucks having to use somebody else's computer. Finally got my cell phone back. Man there was a lot of stuff that happened when I was disconnected. Looking forward to getting back on here. Good news is once I finish A school here I'll have my Jeep paid off. Can you say Frankie? haha

He shouldn't be allowed to have one there while just out of basic and at A-School...unless things have changed since I was in way back when.

I can have my Jeep here once I go to Phase 3. I'm on Phase 2 right now which allows me to go off base for Liberty and wear civilian clothes. I have to wait at least another month before I get Phase 3. Either way I don't plan on getting my Jeep until I finish school here. The taxis here don't cost that much. With me not having the Jeep here I'm not putting any miles on it. This will allow me to pay it off well ahead of schedule. There's more than enough stuff available here on base to keep me entertained. The job I'm training for is Aviation Electricians Mate. I could end up being an Aviation Electronics Tech. It all depends on how well I do in school. Once I get to Phase 3 I am requesting to get into the nicer barracks where I get the room to myself. My age and marital status should help a lot with that. In the mean time I'm enjoying the warm weather, working out at the gym and studying. Hooyah!!!!! Oh and I see the Blue Angels every other day! Awesomeness!

I have always regretted not joining the Navy. Enjoy your time, make the most of it, and thank you for your service.

I wanted to, but they discovered i had varicose(sp?) veins in my left leg. That was a no-no. This was back in 87, when it looked like communism was about to collapse.
