Yes someone snuck one out and was seen in down town Toledo , right hand drive and all pics are at www.toledoblade.com. Won't be released until after June but someone maybe had to make a hot dog run.
looks pretty good, nice interior.

Also the Nitro will possibly become a Fiat in Europe. Not sure if it will still be made here or across the pond. Nitro sales are down, only 1640 were sold in March compared to 4209 Libertys. Nitros are suppose to receive major modifications in 2011.
Talks are under way though that more products will be made in the Toledo plant. Maybe some of the things we heard about during the tour

But just thought it was interesting

Not bad looking.
Think this was done on purpose,or is somebody not going to get a Christmas bonus this year?

Every so often you'll see a new model going down the road somewhere here in Toledo. Remember seeing the first Rubicon about 4 months before it's release.
So maybe they just take one out to see if anyone is paying attention! :-)r
It was down town at the government center where the Mayor, all State and Federal offices are so its hard to tell what they were doing!

Boy the next time I go to Cleveland I'm going to have to make the drive up to Toledo. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to catch one of these rides as it come out of the plant gates.

What's with the right hand drive? Are you Americans thinking of going metric again :ROTFL:

Just one of the export models, saw a bunch of the right hand drive Wranglers when we did the tour!

I kept seeing the same three when I was in Moab last week. A black one, a white one, and another black one with weird metal squares covering the entire body. Supposedly Dan Mick was taking them out for offroad testing. I am not a big fan, they look to fancy.

I think it is ugly and a step back for Jeep. It looks like they are trying to make it look like the others. jeep always kept a distinct look of its own but now they are trying to look like everyone else.

Looks too close to this....a Chrysler product!

Two things stand out to me immediately:

The high beltline and low roof make visibility while off-roading an issue.

I don't like the way where the hood meets the grill is flat across the front. I like a little curve in the hood, like KJ's and the current-gen WK.

Wonder if you would even be able to find a base model one below $30K when they come out? I think not.

Tom,

Link no longer shows article. You should've posted the article and not the cover page of the news website.
