I've been going nuts trying to find something to flip and make money on, stuff going super high and no cherokees for like 3 weeks now. Well whatever happened the stars aligned today, picked that up for $1700. Now I just gotta see if I can get it up to me before the holidays.

Also note that it is a freedom, but someone kept the silverstars off of it, this makes the second freedom I have bought without silverstars, I guess some other people really like the wheels too! I just picked up a set of ecco's so I might throw those on to up the value a little.

Paid $1700, which means more like $2100 after fees to get it home. Shooting for $2500 total, I already have the fender/header panel/airbags, I'm hoping the ECU didn't take a hit or if it did that it is a sentry key ECU because I have one of those.

-Update: no sentry key, got it home, different damage than I expected and a fair amount more work, but nothing I can't handle.

Well done some work, busted out the body jack and got the door jambs back into place, manage to get it started today.

Been trying for a couple of days with my jumper battery, the positive battery cable was cut so I clamped the terminal onto the cut wires, still didn't have enough juice to start it up.

Well finally today I got a new terminal on it, found out the battery it came with still has some balls, but not enough to crank it much. So I hooked up some jumper cables and still no go, it would catch a little, but not much.

So I sprayed some starter fluid in, still didn't start up.

All along the gas pedal never felt right, so I took a look down there, looks like in the accident the cable popped off from the pedal, so I got that hooked back up and tried cranking it, I was able to give it a little gas and got it fired up.

Engine runs nice! These 4L's sure just keep going.

So since it was about 3:30 at that point, which means the sun was going down, I packed it up for the day, left the charger on it so maybe it will be easier to move.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get it moved into the garage.

Also, a set of these will be going on this Jeep:

I got a free passenger airbag from a guy on another jeep forum since I ordered some parts from his company, but the airbag came without a cover! So I picked up a cover at a junkyard for the passenger airbag. A passenger airbag was like $27(with cover) but the cover alone was $23, turns out the guy forgot to charge me for it, SCORE!

Getting closer with the rest of it. Shooting for driving it tomorrow.

Body panel alignment is a witch, and after taking parts on and then off and then on over and over and tweaking it over and over you can get it to look right, so I guess the results are worth it.

Getting closer. I keep fighting a powersteering leak that I think is caused by the o-ring between the plastic reservoir and the pump.

Got the airbags in and got the cruise installed, seems to work correctly from pushing the buttons(cruise lights up on the dash like it should).

Getting closer!

Shiny, Shiny paint and chrome! I replaced all three chrome pieces even though I only needed two, I figure the matching new chrome will really set it off.

If my cousin doesn't buy this I will likely put on this set of TJ Canyons and 30x9.50 tires to up the resale value and really set the thing off. It's kinda funny, but when I sold my grey freedom they had the same tires and wheels on it when I sold it.

Yes about, really not that much for how much I risked buying into it.

Too long, I bought it on Nov 22, and it took me this long to get it done and sold.

Thankfully I had it for sale for about three whole days before it sold, there's nothing worse than just sitting on a vehicle forever when its up for sale.
