This guy who has a user name that sounds like Subaru with the "b" and "a" removed and mart hung on the back based in East Jordan, UT. He sold me a portable generator Generac GP 7000E he did not have. When he got my money through Pay Pal, he hang onto it, I tried to work it out, he kept jacking me around, then he bought a cheaper version GP7000 (noE) with no electric start from Sam's Club and shipped it to me a month later blaming the all delays on the shipping company Ceva. I refused it when I saw that it was not what I ordered and he wanted to string me along until he found another one.
I worked with (Us based eBay/PayPal)/fought with (their off shore idiots) eBay and Pay Pal until I got my money back. I let WalMart Corp know what he pulled and gave them all the info off the shipping documents and explained what he pulled selling their stuff through eBay and have Sam's Club ship it to others (at lest in my case).
What he did or still does, is unethical in my opinion along with those who I worked with at eBay, Pay Pal, and WalMart Corp.

I am sure that the Big Boys and Girls who work for the $179 billion dollar company do not like getting scammed so if there is anything they want to do, they will.

Is what he did illegal?

Sorry to hear this, what a nightmare. Some people are total scam artists. I have experienced similar with buying from a private party online, not quite as expensive as a generator, but from now on, I don't do any business through the online auction sites. Not worth the risk and headaches.
