With whom you ask? Jeepin By Al. I ordered a set of springs and a set of shocks. The shocks came but no springs. I call Marlin and he said he would check into it and call me back. I waited all day. No call. The next day (today) I called again. He is out in the shop and said he would have to get to the office and would call me right back. That was a few hours ago at this time and I'm still waiting.

The springs will come from ARB out of WA. He has been selling so many lately his stock has run dry, so they will be direct shipped from ARB. I just went through the same thing and am now waiting for the weather to cooperate with me so I can get it done :banghead:

According to the shipping paper, it came from ARB for the shocks. There was no mention of anything else being ordered. A phone call would have been nice. Twice he said he would call me back and twice he didn't. Today it was around 2:30PM when I called him. Nothing.

I had problems too.I contacted him and was told waiting on bump-stops. Then I got my A-arms +rear springs+ bump-stops(had front since Dec), no rear shocks . No response to emails. I was going to call JBA,but UPS driver called and said he had a box for me.My shocks. Oh did I mention No shipping # the A-arms+springs were left at my door. Sub driver for UPS, my reg is a friend and when I have shipping info I let him know to leave at my work. When he saw the box he knew to call, and then left it with neighbors.
Also miss some install info. What you get could be clearer too. Also rear shocks(KK) do not have bushings.I made some out of a small pipe, but they crush when tightening.I did not use the new front bump-stops-the install(basically by myself) took my patience. And I didn't get rear bump-stops.But when I get time and patience I can, install.
I'm on to my next project, fixing an old boat trailer to haul my kayaks. My JEEP's to high  :JEEPIN: to load on top now.
Hope you get your stuff and all goes well with your install. So far I like my lift, hope you like yours too.

In speaking with him a TON over the past month he does have a few issues to iron out. He is a great guy and is very busy along with being a bit short handed. He also said he is going to be working on getting more than one tracking number for his customers when parts are coming from a couple of different warehouses. As of right now he can only furnish one tracking number when orders are placed via his website. It will all work out but I understand your frustration when waiting on parts, a phone call or email.

Is JBA a sponsor of this forum like All J?

Don't know and don't care. I just want my parts.

Once again I had to call him. He hadn't even checked on my springs! He put me on hold so he could "call the warehouse foreman". "For some reason the springs were not included in the original order". "They will go out today" and he then gave me a tracking number.

Had the same thing happen to me Terry. Ordered springs and rear iso's a few weeks ago. Iso's showed up just like the shipping tracking said but no mention of springs. He did respond to my Email and had them a few day's later. But never had a tracking number for them.

I had tried the email route. He didn't answer that so I started calling. The springs are due here on the 13th according to UPS.

Marlin wanted the design for a mod I came up with to sell and I went through all the crap so I would not have a conflict of interest with work (don't want a pink slip). Boss's boss gave the OK and I told Marlin it was OK. Marlin comes back with all the Sales Projection Spread Sheet Crap Request. Coming up with a design that works well is one thing, having a crystal ball is another.
All I could say is that he must have been working over his spread sheets instead of taking care of his customers.
It may come back to bite him.

Sometimes I wish the Hacker Terrorists would create a computer virus that only attacks MicroSuck Excell.

Based on my experience trying to get my JBA 4" AaS lift delivered before a pre-arranged install weekend, I found it best to call Marlin to get prompt response. He seems very well intentioned and nice but for whatever reason, order fullfillment thoroughness is lacking. After some hounding, received most of my lift (after he was waiting on springs for coilovers, then what I received was missing the rear shocks (which he had dropped shipped from somewhere else). Fortunately, I didn't have to bug him due to lacking/poor installation instructions because I had previously installed JBA's 2" lift and I had Digger for all the things unique to the 4" AaS lift. Marlin has been and actively supporting the KK market, so personally, I'm hoping he gets his issues resolved soon and succeeds.

So why do people order from him if this is a constant problem? Why not order the same parts from All Js who actually makes the forum possible and no one has ever complained? Seems silly to me...

If everyone thought as you do there would never be but 1 place to get anything. Is that what you want? I got my lift kit from All J's. No problems. So now I need something else. Give someone else a chance. Will I go back to Jeepin By Al? I don't think so. But at least I gave them a chance.

I had no issues with him, or All J's.

For springs, Sierraexpeditions.com had the best price by a few bucks, great service too. Just an FYI. :)
