I've been spending a lot of time on a local river and blown out many a sandal and had enough. I went to a canoe and kayak outfitter and explained my situation and asked for something that's gonna last no matter the cost. He set me up with some Chacos and I'll never buy another brand. The hard sole black thong was like 45 bucks with the Jazz Fest discount promo they had. |

First thing I noticed was he appears to be wearing a pair of Z-2 Chaco sandals. Chaco people are generally pretty enthusiastic about their shoes... we're like a little cult. They still have plenty of tred and the straps are in good shape... Best part, other than the comfort (and I'm flat footed, so I can't wear most sandals), is not having to shell out $$$ every couple months for a new pair of sandals or tennis shoes that'll just wear out. They are wonderful shoes for watersports... nothing better, in my opinion. |
