I don't remember who I sent seeds to for the Datil Peppers. Did anyone have any luck growing them? If so how did you like them? I'm still getting them off my 1 plant.

Hey Fulltimer,

I was one of the people you sent seeds too. Unfortunately, right after they came in via the mail my wife thought they were bad and tossed them out.

I wonder about her sometimes

The plant that I have now isn't growing as good of a pepper as the last one so I'm not saving seeds this year. PM me your name & address and I'll send you some seeds next year. Or maybe seeds from last year if I can find them. Somebody gave me the plant I have now. I wished I would have planted some of my own seeds!

We got quite a few peppers last year from the seeds. This years crop was not as good. We saved some seeds from this years plants so we can try again next year.

They should grow just fine where you live. How do you like them?

They were very good. A little bit of heat but it quickly subsides than you taste the sweetness. I bought some of the Datil Dew sauce after trying the peppers. That stuff is great.

I make my own sauce and use it on lots of things.
