Years ago when I was thumbing through a J C Whitney catalog, I saw a device that indicated how steep the grade you were going up or down and how far from level you were tilted. Since the J C Whitney online catalog is as bad as the LOST search function, I can't tell if they sell it anymore.
Anyone know what it is called?
Or where to buy one?

Looks like often referred to as a Clinometer on Inclinometer.

Here is a basic one. http://collinsbros.stores.yahoo.net/levtilgaugfo.html

Check eBay. There are some OEM ones that came in Toyotas. Search under "Toyota altimeter inclinometer"
