Found this on a google search and it's what i was going to suggest, just didn't want to type it all

Try tapping your f8 key from boot and then choose "Last good configuration" from the menu that pops up.

If that doesn't do the trick, try starting in safe mode and run your AV, plus Spybot, and Ad-aware, or whatever you have available. I think you may well have picked up some infection which has caused damage to your copy of windows, or, maybe your hardrive has developed a fault.

If you can't get into safe mode, I would suggest a Repair Install of Windows. This should repair windows and not delete your old files.

If Windows won't reinstall, then (hopefully you have access to another PC) download the Utility/Diagnostic software from the website of your drive manufacturer (onto a floppy or CD) and run the diagnostic element of the program - you will need to put the floppy in and then boot from it. If you are using a CD, try tapping your f11 key from boot which will hopefully bring up an option to "boot from CD", failing that, you will need to enter the BIOS and change the boot order.

Try these few solutions. If not i'll try and direct you a little further.

If all fails, running a repair off the windows cd should do the trick.

go to a local pc store and get a transfer cable that goes from usb to sata and ide ( they are cheap $15-35) pull the drive from the lap top and relocate the file to the other pc. you can youtube the how to or you can pm me. I work in IT and this is how i recovered my HHD last month.. saved the files and you can then re-flash the drive and reinstall windows

If your laptop has an OS X screen, that's the best fix.

not broken at all, you must boot to the CD\DVD drive to access windows recovery and hit an F button during boot (cant say which for you)... this time frame for button pressing is pre windows screen. PM me if you need some help.

Best bet is to remove the drive and throw it into an external cage and get the files you need off of it, with the files you need backed up zero it out and reinstall with a nice copy of something other than windows.
