Like many of us, I am a Pro Second Amendment advocate who follows the law.
Since I like doing Gunsmith work and like to be legal, I have an FFL (Federal Firearms License) of which I have had for 20 years.
When I filled out the renewal form as I am required to every three years (even if I want it to expire and not renew), I am required by Federal Law to give a copy to the Local Chief of Police or other in charge of Law Enforcement.
The big surprise is that they are now using copy resistant paper.
When I scanned it in the first time I could not read it. So I picked the option of the scanner of using the glossy magazine function and I could read it when I printed it, but the quality was poor to say the least.
Goobernment is crying about not having enough resources to operate on, but making forms that are very resistant to copy but have to be copied is another sign of stupidity to say the least.
When I filled out my Curios & Relics FFL last year, I did not have a problem.
