It's a factory concept for Easter Jeep Safari.

A pickup would be cool, but the J-12 is a little too retro looking for me. I preferred the look of the Gladiator concept truck from few years back. Probably the only one of these things that will ever see a dealership is the Grand Cherokee thing anyway. I'm still waiting for the Dakar.

I think someone from Chrysler/Fiat said that a Jeep pickup is in the works, but it's a few years out still. I doubt it will look anything like this though, sadly

Jeep has been saying that for a few years now. I'd be fine with the Jeep “gladiator concept” and a high torque diesel engine. I’m saving my money now for something utilitarian like.

The front flares are two pieces, just hard to see in that pic. Open door, step on tire.

A fellow Jalopnik user did this for me. So much win!

Having one of those would make going up into the forest and cutting firewood so much fun.

You could convert that into an off-road camper with a nice fold down bed, sink, stove, etc.

If fun is putting a chainsaw on the front bumper and driving through the trees, perhaps :)
