Do any of you know why all the pictures posted here on LOST show up as little yellow squares on my screen? If I roll over them with the cursor it says "loading..." but they never load. My desk top AND my wifes laptop both do it, but her tab works fine. Any ideas?

Are you using IE9? There's a known issue with it displaying pictures. There is a thread somewhere on it. Try using chrome or Firefox

i wish that the admins would take off that image resize plugin or make it so the user can turn it on or off in there account settings

Yep, I put two and two together last night and realized that it started doing it when her laptop updated itself to IE9. It seems to be a problem only with gif pictures. It's quite frustrating!

Mines doing the same thing!!!

I ended up downloading google chrome and I can see pics just fine. I still use IE9 most of the time but when I come here I switch.

think I've posted that info about 2 dozen times now. also think you're the first to actually listen.

it'll forget when you close IE. also note that that put IE8/9 into IE7 mode... which will break other sites, so be prepared to switch it back occasionally.

I've also posted what the site admin's need to do to the site to make this not happen anymore, but apparently no one's bothered to change the style sheet or whatever. it's a simple change too.
