For all of you experiencing weather from Sandy, I came up with the idea of sharing each of our experiences and what is going on around the L.O.S.T. nation.

Here in SE Rhode Island, it's been rainy and windy. Power still on, but we did lose it for about 10 seconds. Reports of Aquidneck Island having power outages.

Here in MD the winds are increasing every hour. Gotten out candles, flashlights, bottle water and can foods. This is going to be a big one. Power is still on. 6,000 without power and number is growing

I still got power, but numerous power outages all around me. I am not venturing out yet.

I still have power as well. But the winds and rain is picking up. I'm staying put, the only way I'm going out if I have to go to a Red Cross shelter. I hope you all get thur this okay. .

27,000 power outage and rising. 6 inches of rain, wind gusts 73 mph. And they are saying it will hit land around 8 pm in NJ.

Power is now out here in SE RI. Got the generator up and running for now. I will probably put it away at night.

Strong winds and steady rains here in central MD (just north of DC) but nothing too terrible. Still have power.

Parents live 10 min from Rehoboth beach and say it's pretty much the same for them. They lost power briefly for about a half hour.

We'll see how much worse it gets over the next 8 hours or so... Glad my KJ is parked safely on the 2nd floor of our parking garage :)

Here in West Philadelphia PA it's been a steady rain all day, but the wind has really picked up since 5 pm. A tree came down behind the house, but didn't take out anything critical. The power is still on here, although Philly.com reports there are currently 650,000 without power throughout the region. Flooding seems to be the biggest issue, although the wind will be increasing throughout the evening. The Jersey Shore has been hit really hard.

Wow, NYC is pretty bad aas well. They closed most major bridges, shutdown all mass transit, trains, rail everything.

Many trees coming down. Power outages. Towns on the coast have lots of flooding.

Only reason I left today was to replenish my stock of alcohol.

Its a shame because I planned on changing my brakes today.. oh wellll.

Everyone stay safe and good luck.

Still no power. Undetermined when it will be restored. No internet/phone/cable. Using my hacked phone's hotspot right now. Looks like some good damage along the coast.

I have a good story to tell
Oct 27th - My Wife and I moved from East Meadow, NY to a new Apt in Island Park, NY (Closer to the coast and Sandy)
Oct 28th - Evacuated from new apt and camped out in old apt where we still have keys
Oct 29th - Go to new apt and find that it flooded with over 2 ft outside and a few inches inside, no idea what to do and want to cry like a little baby.
Oct 30-Present- Staying with friends in Oceanside, NY where we just got power back last night. We have only been home twice to check on everything and it is not looking good. Most of our furniture is probably done for.

We still have a decent outlook on things as there were no injuries and we still have all 3 furry children in tow. I pray for everyone else affected and hope everything can get back to normal soon
