Its getting to be that time - im looking at a 2007 fj ( has factory towing and locker ) or a 2010 xterra. Both are going to be poor mileage wise, but its better than the 12 mpg i get now with the kj.i need something that will be able to tow a trailer with the cj, and its going to be a dd with no trail time. Which would you go for ? The xterra or fj? |

the FJ has more aftermarket support - and some enthusiast groups don't think the Xterra gets any respect at all. |

FJs had their own issues which you may look into they do have a lot of aftermarket support for bumpers etc though Xterras are almost like libertys, they do their job but not many think its a real 4 WD |

You still have the CJ? Keep it in the family and get another Jeep ![]() or just get a truck to tow with... |

Wound up going with the Xterra |
