Winner: Jeep Brand, Up 47 Percent On the shoulders of the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee, Jeep sales continue to surge. Each and every model reported sales gains, although over half of the month’s 45,946 vehicles sold came from the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee (11,795 and 12,691 units, respectively.) Even with fewer sales days in February compared to January 2014, Jeep Cherokee sales still rose from last month’s 10,505. Clearly the sour review from Consumer Reports wasn’t enough to sway buyers, who continue to line up for the new compact SUV.
