Started with this, an old 4' x 4' road sign trailer.

Massaged the dent out of it

Moved the axle to underneath the springs and gave it a 3" lift

And off to the shop for a 2' addition to the front and some new fenders.

Your trailer has come a long way since you first towed it home.

So what's stage 2?

Aluminum body with maybe a Jeep tailgate.

Stage # 3 will be an aluminum top for the body with gas shocks & roof rails. Right now I'm still waiting on tags and title.

Yea! I'm legal - The title & tags are here! Now I can get busy.

And they rated it at 3000 GVWR

Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve for this little trailer. Wow, 3000 GVWR! Must have a beefy axle under it.

Nope lol 2,000 lb axle, but at least I can upgrade without a hassle.

Discovered a no cost bonus today. The trailer tongue is made from 2 1/2" square tube so when I'm ready for it a Max coupler will slide right in after unbolting the existing coupler.

^^^^^^^^^^^ The above info is wrong although it will slide in it is loose. I'm having a receiver section welded into the tongue.

The Jeep tailgate looks good!

Do you have a sketch of how your trailer will look when you have it all modded?

Sorry - no sketches. But basically an aluminum box with running boards tied into the fenders. And an aluminum lid with gas shocks and a roof rack. Probably a swing out tire carrier on the back and a storage box on the front.
