Guess it depends on how you are planning to use them? I vote for the ones that cover the lower section to prevent rain from coming in when you leave the windows cracked open.
But on the other hand, the longer ones may make a little more wind noise if you plan to drive around with windows just cracked open a little which I never do.
The only purpose I use them for is to leave windows cracked open about 2 inches when vehicle is parked out in the sun on a hot day. We can and do have hot muggy summer days of 100+ temps and being able to leave windows cracked open along with the sunroof helps. I also have a factory Mopar deflector on the sunroof as well.
And I have been through the automated car wash a few times with no issues because of them...
