How friendly will this trip be for a stock JK Unlimited Sport?
I won't be modified by April and only have the 225/75/16 (29”x9”) tires.

You will be able to do most of the trails. There might be a couple that could get a little tough, but we can help you get through. As long as you have recovery points there shouldn't be a problem. Come on out, you will have a blast no matter what!

We're still looking forward to it!

Both Jeeps are ready to go; the plan is to take the KJ. The suspension and drive train are all in really good condition. Tires are in good shape, though I wish I could put on new rubber for a little extra clearance. Only minor issues are that the rear window struts need to be replaced and the CB antenna is way overdue for an SWR check. I just ordered a pair of rear window struts from NAPA. Ham radio antenna needs TLC, too. Solder joints weren't great when I installed it, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Excellent! Looking forward to wheeling with you! I will have an SWR meter with me if you want to make some adjustments. Your KJ will get through pretty much everything we are doing. Its going to be a great trip!

WOO HOO!!! LJS 2013!!!
Looks like the headquarters hotel is booked up, so I'll find another place that's close.

I'll try to contact the guy that bought my KJ. He'll probably want to come.

Hey Troy!
Gonna be great to get to wheel with you again. Did you call the Kokopelli? I think there is one more room left, maybe 2. I havn't heard of anyone taking the last one yet. Anyway I am going to be posting up more info this weekend. Its going to be great trip this year for sure!

No, I didn't try calling--I figured the rooms would be all gone by now. I'll call tomorrow, though.

Either way, I'm looking forward to wheeling with you guys again! It's been way too long.

I just have to double check my work schedule to see which days. Plan on probably driving out early am to meet up for the days run, camping, and then doing another run the next day with guys, head home that evening.
