Ok Everyone,
The dates are set! May 1st through the 10th. We will have the base camp at the Kokopelli Lodge again this year. I will post up all the info in the next few months, but you might want to get your reservation in at the Lodge, there are only 9 rooms and they will go quick. Just make sure and tell them you are with Lost Jeeps, we have the entire lodge reserved just for us.
http://kokopellilodge.com

The trail schedule have been posted please make sure you take a look at that. Also, remember Tuesday night there will be a raffle, we are hoping to have some great prizes for everyone to win. This is a family event and we welcome you to bring your kids and pets. The Kokopelli Lodge is pet friendly and is very reasonably priced. But don't wait to book. It will sell out!

Lost jeeps Socal has been hosting this event since 2003 and every year its always been alot of fun. We are looking forward to meeting some new friends and see some old ones again too. If there is anyway you can make this trip please do, Trust me you won't be disappointed.

So I have been interested in this trip for the past 2 years but I didn't have a lift yet but I just ordered it :) but I was wondering if I only have the 1.5" lift, steel bumpers and plan on getting some rock sliders and a winch. So my question is could I do this trip with this setup?

Oh almost forgot its a 2011 KK

Thanks,
JeepMonkey

The OME and Ironman lift kits will actually give you 2-2.5 inches, according to most posts I've read. Supposedly it is advertised as being only 1.5 inches because of Australian lift laws. I suspect you will be fine with the setup you list (but be sure to add skid plates as well as the rock sliders).

You could definitely do this trip with that setup. We have had KK's out on the trails with us numerous times. You could actually hold off on your winch if that helps, just make sure you have recovery points and a good tow strap. Hope we will see you out there!

This might be a dumb question but I'm at work right now so I can't check myself but when you book the room do you have to pay for it all up front or can you wait till I get there to pay?

Because if I can just book the room without paying the whole thing I will book it when I get home tonight :)

The Kokopelli will just keep your CC number on file and will not charge it until you check in. When you call make sure you say you are with LOST to get the special rate. Also, ask for Wendy, she is the person that is handling our reservations. Glad you can make it this year!

So what nights did everyone book that way I don't book too many nights, and is the 10th an all day or just like a half day? Just trying to figure out my driving days to and from home, it says on google maps that it is just under a 16 hour drive

First night in Moab would be the 2nd (Friday) The 1st trail run will be Saturday the 3rd. Most people check out on Saturday the 10th.

Thanks :seuss: . Hopefully next year my schedule will work out. But most likely 2016 or 2017. Wow only 2 years from now seems so far away when I put it that way.But right now I don't get much say as to when I get vacation.
