My 2005 and I hit a rather large ice pile last week during the storm. The right front of my bumper shattered on impact. Luckily, the grill lights and all else were spared. Anyway, I ordered the replacement from the dealership and was looking to put it on myself. Problem I'm having is that I'm mechanically challenged and don't know where to start. I read the thread on front bumper removal and think I might be able to do it. I just need more help.

Thank you in advance.

How much did it cost you for the replacement?

It cost me $112.00 from the dealership. Not including the replacement rivets.

Very easy to go except the clip\s holding the fender on can be a real
pain. I'll see if I have an install sheet for a Blue Ox base plate at work I can send you.
You have to take the bumper off to install.

It’s not hard at all. I have had my '05's cover off a few times. 6 rivets, 4 screws and 2 turn signals. That’s all that holds it on.

Start by removing the grill. The newer grill ('05-'07) is only clipped on. There is a large tab over the main headlight and about four smaller ones down the middle. Just lift up on them and pull forward.

Remove the turn signals next using a 10mm socket and set to the side. On each side there are three rivets that hold the wheel well liner in place. Just gently pry them out. I used a tack puller. A small flat head screwdriver might do the trick.

The cover is now ready to come off. Two bolts underneath just below the radiator. Two bolts next to the turn signals. Remove all with a 10mm socket. At this stage just give it a good pull. There are tabs that snap in just under the grill. If you can’t get them to come out, push down on them with a screwdriver.
