 Post subject: Removing air box and battery to install top strut plates

So it's like the subject states, can anyone offer any advice on the best way to do this. Can you leave the battery connected and still get access to the 4 bolts or will it need to disco. Do you need to remove anything first or just go for the air box and battery etc.

I don't know about the diesels, but I had to remove the battery and the airbox both.

Here is the wirte up I did, and I think covered this in it.

well it will be alot easier to get to the bolts if you take the battery and tray out. If you don't you'll need some kind of special monkey arms, its will just be easier to take them out. As far as the airbox, thats simple. Just take off the cover, disonnect it from the plastic thing on top of the throttle body and pull up on the air box untill it pops out of the rubber grommets securing it.
