Hey guys, Since most of the front diff/axel's had to be removed to upgrade to the 4:10 gear's and DTT's, I've been getting this "Click" sound from the front end. It happen's when turning the vehicle in tight places, reversing out the drive way & then when strightening up to drive off so pretty much when I've gotta turn the the stearing back n' forth a fair bit. It's NOT the points of contact when at full lock this time as initially thought. The sound can be heard quite clearly from inside and outside the vehicle but nothing is felt through the stearing wheel. I was told it could be the Tru Trac ??... i'm taking it into jeep to have looked at to try and identify where the sound is comming from. But was wondering if any of you guys could give me a head's up on the issue. Cheers Neil |

This could be it!... as I didn't think it sould me making such a click/clunk sound. Back to the Diff centre to rectify the sound. Edit: the problem was a loose nut/screw at the camber/caster adjustment...all fixed. |
