It's alot more difficult on your '05 since it already uses a stand alone trans cooler unlike older KJ's with the 45RFE which use a in-radiator trans cooler(same with CRD's since they run the 545RFE).

You would need to swap in a radiator from a '02 KJ and then modify the cooler lines to run through the in-radiator cooler then your existing cooler,then back to the trans for max effect.

TJ suggested this to me two or three years ago. It worked great the trans light has never came on again even while climbing to over 13,000 feet in four low.
