It's alot more difficult on your '05 since it already uses a stand alone trans cooler unlike older KJ's with the 45RFE which use a in-radiator trans cooler(same with CRD's since they run the 545RFE). You would need to swap in a radiator from a '02 KJ and then modify the cooler lines to run through the in-radiator cooler then your existing cooler,then back to the trans for max effect. |

TJ suggested this to me two or three years ago. It worked great the trans light has never came on again even while climbing to over 13,000 feet in four low. |
