I have a pin hole in the plastic end cap of my radiator. While waiting for my new radiator to come in I have been adding water and checking it frequently. I have realized that my fan is not coming on unless I run the heat. I have now noticed that the compressor runs with the heat on. Has anybody else had these issues? Is it all attributed to maybe loss of pressure in the cooling system? Somebody help I'm getting aggravated!!! |

Howdy Diver Welcome to LOST Yes the compressor runs when the air flow is on the last 3 positions most of the old links/photos are dead however Chessmaster's photo's on this one http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=57801#p57801 basically the fix is pull of the control panel and clear the conductive part on the last positions. or just be aware that it does that. also - for future reference - you get more responses in the main discussion sections - Tech is more for fixes after the fact (probably should have the compressor fix too) |
