 Post subject: went mudding in my kj prkd it for 2 days, now it wont start

Location: Going home to VA soon...Hopefully
went mudding in my 06 kj sport, it was 12 degrees outside, parked it for 2 days, went out to go to the car wash and clean it up i turn the key all the dask lights come on, but it wont turn over at all, no clicking, no whinning, nothing. any thoughts?

Boost the battery off it that doesn't help and you still have no clicking then more then likely it is your starter. Especially if you don't have a front skid plate or went through some deeper water. I would crawl underneath it check for loose wires leading to the starter if you can't find anything then remove the starter and take it to be tested.

the battery seems to be fine, i turn the key on all the dash lights come on, running lights, and radio works like its supossed to but once i turn the key farther i get nothing, im thinking i ripped a wire out from the starter or killed the starter. but yea i need to have it checked, thanks yall any other input would be helpful, also for a second though i got water in the sileniod or relay, and it froze up cause it is liek 12 degrees here

i tested the bettery it was ok not as strong as a new one, but still good, so im thinking a frozen or bad starter

Have you checked to see if you have voltage to the starter solenoid when you turn the key to start?

not yet weather has been rather nasty lately, but thats next, im going to start at the starter relay, then soleniod then starter its self
