I have a 06 KJ Renegade the lines went bad at 72,000,00 miles, to do the work the dealership had to drope the front drive shaft and the remove the oil cooling coil and radiator and cooling fan it took 8 houres, has anyone had this problem befor? the dealer said that it just happens.

I've got the same leak on mine (90K miles) - Currently have a hose clamp and a rag wrapped around to keep from making a big mess - need to get a replacement line to swap it out.

I have had a similar problem. Clear redish oil dripping with a slow pace. Dealer checked it and concluded that the Power Steering hose was leaking and needed replacement. A second opinion by myself learned that it was not the power steering hose but a flange of this same hose scraping against and through the transmission oil cooler line. All to do with a fixture being disconnected allowing vibrations.

I've cut the transmission oil line and just slid a 10cm hydralic hose over it. Two hose clamps on both sides and a few tyraps to secure the power steering hose and keep both separated. Job done.
