Pretty interesting test and where the new Cherokee came out
5 vehicles tested
Toyota 4Runner Trail Premium $43,035
Land Rover Range Rover Sport $94,085
Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel $49,185
Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk $ 37,010
Dodge Durango Limited $49,305

In Trail Performance the Cherokee Trailhawk won
The Range Rover won out in Empirical, On Road performance and Interior , but what do you expect out of a $94,000 SUV with 510 horsepower and loaded with everything
Exterior the Grand Cherokee won

Overall
5th Dodge Durango
4th Toyota 4 Runner
3rd Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
2nd Jeep Cherokee
1st Land Rover Range Rover Sport

They said the KL had a good engine, liked the 9 speed transmission, "fascinating " 4WD system, rear selectable locker and was nimble to handle
The Grand Cherokee only beat out the Cherokee by less than a point 74.6 compared to 73.90.

I'd like to test drive one of these KL's over my Christmas break just for fun. Someday we might need a second vehicle, so you never know?

You will have fun. Though it is a car based SUV, the ride is solid. I can tell the difference between the KL and the Dart I traded and which shares some parts with the Cherokee. It handles well on city streets and on the highway. Interior is quiet and comfortable.
