You really don't need a locker to do Windrock. Dgeist did it totally stock (albeit in a CRD KJ). Can you hold off on the locker and run with us? Also, if I'm not mistaken, there are folks on LOST that have had success with a DTT in a stock housing.
There are more than a few with DTT's up front. Having a locker isn't the issue, I thought I was ready to go when they replaced the gears. The pinion bearing is moving according to the company doing the work. I think the pinion wasn't installed properly myself. This'll be the third set of gears in the front, the second was put in the rear last year for the same reason. At least their standing by their work but they refuse to put new gears in with the trutrac, they wanted to return it to an open diff but I really didn't want that.
I'm afraid that my diff will explode on the trail or I'd go anyway. You should hear it, there's even a bad vibration like a tire out of balance, it's ugly.
