I'm bumming - can't go this year cuz my daughter is having a "pre-wedding" party that weekend for friends and family. She's getting married in November but there's NO WAY I'd survive for next year's ECS if I wasn't at the party.  I REALLY wanted to go again this year. Take lots of pics, OK? Bob |

Here we go again. It seems that the "gear squad" botched my front axel AGAIN. I'm going to have a different shop look at it to see if it's any good and why my gears are so loud but I'm not very optimistic. They've got a bunch of reasons why but I think it boils down to an improper pinion set up.

N-O-O-O!  Ya'll got to come! Bring the van and stay in it....you can share my motel room...ride the trails with someone....spot for someone. D@MN! I hate that.  I was really looking forward to seeing ya'll again. If Scott didn't have to get back to work I'd be tempted to head to Chicago to see ya'll.

 Well, it's official, I can't go. Now they're telling me that my aluminum diff case isn't strong enough for a Trutrac. Long story short, I'm upgrading to an e locker. The earliest they can do it is October 7. I was really looking forward to it.

Dgeist did it totally stock (albeit in a CRD KJ). Can you hold off on the locker and run with us? Also, if I'm not mistaken, there are folks on LOST that have had success with a DTT in a stock housing. |
