We are actually ahead of schedule.

Right now it looks like we'll be able to start shipping on May 1st, one week from today.

I will get a product page set up over the weekend so that you guys can pre-order. We'll be sending an email out as well as updating this thread when the page is up.

Thanks everyone!

Can I buy just the exhaust manifold plug itself? I've already done the other stuff.

Thanks

I think the delete kits are great! I've already preordered my stage two kit. I've been working for chrysler, jeep, dodge for almost 17 years. I even went to the liberty CRD class in Charlotte in 2005. I've seen any and all that could go wrong with these liberty diesels. This delete kit is the ticket to problem free engine operation. Of course the programmer from Green diesel is a big plus too. Keep up the good work. We appreciate all you're doing Sasquatch Motor parts.

Would you consider creating a new Q&A thread regarding your experience at the class you attended in 2005? :JEEPIN:

I've done some reading on the forum and for the most part everyone here has a general idea about what's going on under their hoods. That CRD class was ten years ago for me. A lot of water under the bridge. I started out working on the old timed injection pumps with the pop off style injectors. You wouldn't believe how far we've come. I own a 2005 liberty CRD now. And it's pretty much out dated by all manufacturers standards. The rocker arms that trash the cams are not uncommon. Seen them and corrected them. Had to do it to mine. The EGR valve is your worst enemy. Broken glow plugs and stuck turbo waste gate veins. Remember to service your oil seperators. They will stick. And will fill your inner cooler with oil. I have no problems answering serious questions. I have worked on the CRD liberty since it was introduced. And may have done some of your torque converter recalls.

I haven't kept track of all the jeeps I've worked on. Don't know an exact number. What I do know is if you own a 2005-2006 jeep liberty diesel 2.8L and you still have the OEM turbo mounted to your exhaust manifold; you have a vacuum wastegate with variable veins. This is a fact. Also if you own the same vehicle list above you also have a oil separator mounted on the the valve cover/cam housing. I'm not going to use long sentences to explain oil on a dipstick or how a puck moves up and down due to positive and negative pressures. Current turbos are VGT's (Variable Geometry Turbocharger). This is also a fact. They use a module with a stepper motor mounted to the turbo that drives a Nozzle Ring in and out to direct exhaust flow in order to control boost. Our libertys have wastegates and oil seperators. Rocker arms fail for multiple reasons. Lack of maintenance, poor oil quality, a bad part, lack of lubrication, debris and probably many other reasons. If the roller bearing on the rocker arm locks up it will damage the lob on the camshaft. This is also a fact. These are things I have seen and are not unusual.

Please don't mind him. We value your experience, we just use some different terminology sometimes and you'll get jumped on for using the wrong word.
