Hey all,

Just finished moving to SoCal. I'm living in LA, Koreantown to be exact and hope to start participating with you guys on runs. I just moved from Hawaii. Haven't really taken my Jeep much off road, mostly just rough dirt roads and such. Did get the pleasure of driving through 20+ inches of snow this past xmas wich was totally fun.

Can't wait to hit the trails with you all. If you see a blue Renny with hawaii plates driving around that's me.

Take care!

Justin

Thanks JJ and Nanette,

It's nice to be in Cali again. I like Hawaii, but California is much more normal to me. I'm definatly planning on going to the Big Bear run. JJ, if you don't mind send me anything info on membership, I'm definatly interested in joining.

Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have a lift and new tires ready for my Liberty. Got to work out school finances and work first, but til then I plan on putting my SRAs to work (more motivation to get the lift in tires if I need new tires  )

Nanette, was in Monterey a few weeks ago, sad to see that there was a fire on Alvarado ST. :( There was a good italian resteraunt in that building.

Yep, many commercials promoting "we're still open". It was a cool little section.
See ya in Big Bear!

Cool, I'll keep an eye out. I'm usually parked somewhere around Fedora and James Wood, although it could vary by as much as a couple of blocks depending on parking availability.

Also, do any of you who live in LA reccomend a good mechanic? I don't have any problems with my KJ, but I just don't have the space to do routine maitanence. I'm limited to street parking so that really limits what I can do.

And...if anyone needs recommendations on good Korean restaurants let me know. Plenty of those around my apartment :) Heh, I can also translate for you (was a Korean linguist in the navy)

Take care,

Justin

Probably too far of a drive but I would do it for ya if you cruised up to Lancaster and took some product off my hands.  I would only ask that you also brought up some kimchi w/ ya. :P

It's alittle far, but I know of a great mechanic in Redlands.
