Practice Day Photos

Great day, great turn out, great run.
OK, I kind of went over board with the pictures this time, but I just couldn't decide on 5 or 6. I'll work this week on getting them on a web site. For the time being enjoy, and if any one wants High-res, let me know.

Mike need just a little help on the "optional" climb (next to the one that took me 3 tries and Kirk only 2 ! ..nice job Kirk..stupid ZJ... ) The top of that climb was VERY steep and his front end unloaded just enough to need a slight tug from Nanette.

Nice photos Will and ...Glad you came out with us, I know it was a long drive for you. 8)

Kirk and Donna great pics too...how did the Alamo Mtn run go ?...did you meet up with Mike R?

Alamo was closed. We got to the stream and they had a gate across the road. The ranger at the exit to the park said it is closed all winter and should open in April sometime. I suspect this is due to the snow up top.

We did see Mike R. on the way back from the stream and informed him. He continued on to see the stream.

Yup I still wanted to hang around and check out Piru Creek. It's nice down there.

Really steep hill, kinda crumbling concrete, there was a hole and I tried to bump it a little a couple of times but I figured I didn't want to be dumb and risk a rollover on "Practice Day".

Gotta love the flying dog shot! And that's a really great picture of Ben's blue KJ showing the angle of the hill. Nice pictures guys. Got any more?

Terrific, you guys. I really enjoyed the great pictures. It was a great day.

There was some talk of coming to Hungry Valley again and staying the weekend. That way we could do a night run on the trails in the valley and do the Miller Jeep Trail in the day. Now we know we'd have to do that when the snow melts, maybe in June, or?
