IF there is snow & ice on either of those you might not want to avaoid them.
I know a couple NAXJA guys were up there this past weekend and there was a lot of ice on Holcomb which made it interesting.
I doubt I will be going anywhere until F.I.T.S. and even that is still not nailed down yet.

BTW, Marisha is coming down that weekend and is trying to get the NAXJA folks to set up a run for her. Check to see if they nailed anything down yet. BTW, We are welcome to attend too.

I ran Holcomb a couple of weeks ago and there was some ice, made it kinda fun actually. I'm not sure if I'd do John Bull w/ice and snow. I ran it in the rain once and that was a little hairy.
Keep us posted Jeff, I wouldn't mind getting out.

Yeah, but you got a KJ on 30" tires..

No offense but we have a little more clearance, I run 35's and jeff runs 33's..

I have run them both in over a foot of snow and it is funnnnn.. its a littly hairy on the off-camber stuff

but sure is fun to open up all 400HP of the V8 under the hood and get the tires a spinnin....

It is supposed to be snowing cats and dogs on Saturday so visibility will be crap..

Thanks John and Jeff.....We've wheeled together long enough to know what Sammy and I are capable of and if/when I complain.

Let me fix your statement for you "sure is fun to open up all 400hp of the V8 under the hood and get the axles breaking" ;)

ok...so after that spanking I had to go...

We went up Gold Mtn (again...) and then up Butler Peak where this was shot. We ran into the ranger on our way out as he was locking the trail up for the winter. Last Jeeps up Butler Peak until Summer....that was kinda cool actually. 28 degrees and snowing during most of the trail and then the giant slip and slide on the 18 all the way down
