JJ-

I am still around in SD- looking for an opportunity to go wheeling with you guys. I propose a run out to Corral Canyon/Lake Morena area- possibly to do Sidewinder or Bronco's Peak.

Later,
Coullt

Are you familiar enough w/ those trails to offer to lead them?

Very much so- I have led about 5 to 6 XJs and a few TJ's through those trails. It's a nice easy day run out near Alpine, Ca. Off of the I-8 East.

These trails and obstacles are the type that let people test thier vehicles ability while still being comfortable with thier own driving skills.

I haven't done Bronco's Peak, but I am intimately familiar with Sidewinder and Los Pinos Loop.

I have completed most of the trails out there with only a 2 inch BB and 31's open/open- so you beefy KJ guys will rock those trails, no doubt. Rock Rails are recommended though.

Here are some of the shots of my first XJ making it through on some of the obstacles.

And finally, Adam making it through the mini rock garden near the end of Sidewinder

When were you think about getting a run together?

There was a thread around here somewhere about you! If you would come by more often you would see people talking about you!

Of course I am here and ready to wheel....

I had invited the group to join the NAXJA runs in Big Bear a couple of weeks ago, no one showed. I know that several folks were in Moab, returning from Moab, or preparing for Moab....no big deal, but you guys missed a great time. We had over 40 rigs show up. I will post up a thread on it with the links to pics and stories...

Anyways,

I am heading to Big Bear on Friday June 1st for a single day run. I will also post about this. I have family in town that day and they want to go wheeling.

I am looking forward to the KJ event in Big Bear. I am planning on bring up my XJ and my wife will be in her TJ.

See you soon!

Si. NorCal will do their part.

Can make it down to SoCal about once a month. I've strapped a barrel of crude oil to the rooftop. You have extra refinery capacity down in SoCal, right, or was that $3.49 seasonal maintenance closures at multiple facilities? I'd have been down last weekend, but was wheeling a little in Reno, then 10000 feet at Laurel Lakes at Mammoth.
