I'm gonna miss you two a lot, but when I move out to my 40 acres near Hackberry, AZ, we'll be fairly close to each other.

I would like to reserve one camp site. Maybe a lifetime reservation? I have a '67 Shasta travel trailer, about 10' long, and a '72 Ford F-250. If you want to put me REALLY far away from the 40' diesel pusher motorhomes I'd understand. Would I have something like a bell to ring so the beer girls would drive the golf cart full of iced-down Coors out to me? Please let me know.

Happy Trails!

Hey Dennis, So do Brian and I have first Dibs on your house when you move?

Yea Dennis if you want to talk songs...Just a little part of Castles Made of Sand...Jimi Hendrix... One of my all time favs.

Just another reason you need to fill your dreams before it is too late.

A little indian brave who before he was ten,
Played wargames in the woods with his indian friends
And he built up a dream that when he grew up
He would be a fearless warrior indian cheif
Many moons past and more the dream grew strong until
Tomorrow he would sing his first warsong and fight his first battle
But something went wrong, surprise attack killed him in his sleep that night

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually

Metallica seems appropriate too:

Those people who tell you not to take chances,
They are all missing on what life's about,
You only live once so take hold of the chance,
Don't end up like others,
The same song and dance.

(I especially like how the rhymn chance with chance. Geniuses!)

That reminds me of an old one, updated:

I see London, I see France
Clint and Bo will take a chance

When you have 40 acres, I guess underpants are optional.

Good song Clint. Here's one for when you and Bo get to Snowflake:

"I came here lookin' for something
I couldn't find anywhere else.
Hey I'm not tryin' to be nobody,
Just want a chance to be myself."
(Streets of Bakersfield...Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam)

Hey Shanna and Brian:

As soon as I get confirmation on the beer girls in the golf cart, you two can start packing your stuff and the house is yours!

I'll even throw in a couple of spitters (barn cats) to sweeten the deal.

Clint & Bo--

Pam and I are so glad to hear that you guys are getting to do what you have always wished for...you both deserve it.
Having done a similar move last year, let me tell you all the hassle of moving will all be worth it that first morning you wake up to clear skys, fresh air and the only sounds you hear are made by nature.
Enjoy...

Garland

Hey Clint & Bo! Pam here. Congratulations on getting out...I have no doubts that you both are going to find exactly what you're looking for and I don't think you'll bother looking back. Snowflake is lovely...we've been through a few times. That northern part of AZ is beautiful...and you'll be close to one of mine and Garlands very favorite AZ cities...Winslow!!! This is definitely not goodbye...we're always wandering down the AZ way and checkin' out your new place will just be another reason to send us there. Let us know if we can be of any help. It takes a lot of guts to leave what you're comfortable with...but it's gonna be wonderful.

Take care & sendin' ya both lots of hugs until we get to see you again!

Pam

Out-dadgummed-standing you guys!

At first I thought you took my recommendation for early retirement to heart but you've been planning this for 20 years....

I'm in Payson AZ right now and there are a ton of KJs in this town. Man, they're everywhere. So think about a Navajoland chapter.

Hey Dennis i'll tell you what. I will buy you all the Coors light you can drink in one sitting and take the cats. On second thought maybe we will take the cats out to Arizona to Clint and Bo's new habitat. They already have a mini farm, whats a couple more furry friends :D
